The differences between an expensive and not-so-expensive spectacles

I just bought a new spectacles. As usual, the frame is red in colour. ( I just love RED!!!!) The spectacles costs me RM 515 which is quite cheap compared to my previous. My previous spectacles is RM 950. Can you see the differences??

My previous spectacles is quite branded. It's SCHWARZENBACH. That explains the expensive price. Not only that, the lenses of my spectacles are from NIKON. The difference between Nikon lenses and normal lenses is it's field of vision. The Nikon lens is so good that when you wear it, you wouldn't the notice the frame. My spectacles are both full-framed. When you look down, you won't see the frame. The field of vision is so wide. That's my old spectacles. The new one is okay but it really disturbing my view. Even when I look straight ahead, I kept noticing the red frame. I can see the frame clearly. I can even see how thick my frame is. Both the spectacles are of the same size but the new spectacles feel really small. Even though I have a new spectacles, I feel comfortable wearing the old one.

I choose the cheap one this time because I would only wear it during classes. I still have my contact lenses, so I thought "Just buy a cheap one la. Nk g class je pun. Lau nk g jejalan, contacts kn ade."

I post this in out of my irritation.

The left one is the new spectacles while the right is the old one.

SWAG....

Hi everybody, it's been a while. I've been very busy with college activities and classes, that I didn't have time to update. Sorry.

Guess what?? For the very 1st time, I was appointed as the 'Pengarah Program' Miles For MAKNA 2013. It was my first time as a Pengarah, and to add the pressure, it's not a mere college event, but it's an event under UPM. It's a big program as it is a collaboration of UPM with Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA). And imagine me myself as the Pengarah. The pressure was unbearable. Not to worry, I will publish a special post about the event later.

Anyway, let's go back to our topic.

SWAG. What does that mean? Been hearing people said about it but not knowing the meaning behind it. Allow me to entertain you.

The word SWAG is commonly used by hip hop crowd. It's their own way saying that they're cool, different and above others. For example, if someone said "I got swag, bro!", it means that he had something (for example: style, attitude) that other people didn't have.

Here, let me give you a situation. Just imagine an underground hip hop club. There's a lot of hip hop gang hanging around. And then, suddenly, a guy (let's call him, Joe) kicked the door open, entering in a smug way. With hand in his pockets, his back hunched a little. Wearing shades, beanie, pants that hung loose on his butt. Looking straight, ignoring the existence of people around him, walking confidently towards.. hurm, maybe a friend of him . Then a spectator, with drool at the corner of his mouth said "He definitely got swag". SWAG here means the way he walks, the way he act. The confident side of him.

Actually, SWAG has a lot of meaning. It came from the word SWAGGER that means walk or behave in a confident way. It's often connected with arrogant and overconfident. The definition of SWAG evolves as the years passed by. So, don't be surprised if you encountered a different meaning of that word.

I wrote all of this based on my understanding. I always watch G-dragon music videos. Kpop lovers always connect him to SWAG. He also includes the word SWAG in his lyrics. Fine, I know some of you didn't like (or HATE) Kpop. His new song, ONE OF A KIND, is a good example of SWAG.

You can watch it here.

When I watch this kind of videos, I couldn't help being impressed. I mean, being confident isn't easy. To be honest, I have no self-confident when I first entered UPM. However, I got through it. How I got through it, I will tell you in the next post.

Me!!!!

My reaction at the beginning of the semester.
(Can't wait for the class to begin... he3)

Me at the end of the lesson.
(I was admitted to the hospital because of anemia on the 1st week. I didn't have a clue in most of the class).

I was shy when the math tutor asked me to do the question on the whiteboard.
(I did the homework that she told us to do but I still feel shy)
I didn't understand the Digital Circuit lesson and this is my expression  throughout the class.
When me and Farah get bored during the class, we'll crack a joke and laugh our lungs out.

Me during the TITAS lecture.
(When will this class ends? Oh God, HELP ME!!)

Me when all the class ends and we're heading to the cafe.

My reaction when I saw my crush in the same class of me.
(He's so cute!!!!)
Other people's reaction when they saw me and my friends acting crazy.
(What's wrong with these guys?)

AUKU????

Recently, there have been a lot of issues regarding Akta Universiti Kolej Universiti(AUKU) and university students have been brought up. This is due to an act of a particular university student. I didn't think I should mention his name here. But, I think most of you are aware of this issue right? His act had cause troubles to him and also everyone else such as government and all the university students. Some opposes him but there are also people who are supporting him. Not only that, his act also had contribute to other events too.

You know why I brought this thing up? I'm not interested in politics. I'm not pro-government or pro-opposition but I'm a Malaysia's citizen and I have rights to voice out my opinion. Firstly, this is for university students who want to involve themselves in politics. You know what, some of the university students' have no interest in politics and their wish is to pursue their study only and have fun while doing that. However, due to some issues, we, the university students were seen as a threat by the governments. Due to that, the rules and regulations have been tighten. This brought some, well, dissatisfaction to others, me in particular. In the earlier times, university students was seen as an example, something to be proud of. But now, we are seen as a threat???? What the hell is going on now??? We are the future generation and this is how others view us now??? For the university students who want to get involved in this politics things, please do so if you want but please present yourselves as someone who are his opinions are worthy to be considered. Not by doing stupid act, illegal demonstrations and screaming like idiot people. Show how brilliant people voicing their opinion.

Next, here some advice to the government. You can't control the students. The more you forbid the students to do something, the more 'excited' the students to do what are being forbid. Because, the students, being teenagers, are curious. They want to know what will happen if they did the forbidden things. Can't you see??? There are no use of controlling them. Here what you can do, prepare a platform for them to voice out their opinion. And if their opinion are worthy, please consider it. The students are not kids anymore. They are capable of thinking. Maybe their ideas can be used. Who knows??? In the end, when the students are ready, they will replaced you and use their ideas to make a better world. What harm can be done if you take them seriously??

I know some people may be angry with me, but I don't care. This is how I'm thinking and nobody can't restricts me from thinking and voicing my opinion.
